Shop and Butchery Class Vouchers

Once you have made your purchase online, please contact Sara on butcheryclasses@thegingerpig.co.uk or 0203 8697804 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm) and she will book the class for you or arrange to send out a physical voucher.

We kindly request you allow up to 5 working days for your posted vouchers to arrive. If you do not receive your vouchers after 5 working days, please contact Sara at butcheryclasses@thegingerpig.co.uk

We would also like to remind you that we can send out e-vouchers directly to your email inbox, if requested.

The gift that keeps on giving. Our butchery classes offer a tremendous gift experience for the dedicated cook and meat-eater who would like a hands-on lesson in meat and traditional butchery skills. Our guests will try their hand at light butchery and will learn more about where their meat comes from, while picking up a new skill and finding out how to get the most from each cut. We can promise a fun and relaxed evening hosted by some of our most experienced and charming butchers. Plus, for every class there’s a two-course informal meal to end and a substantial joint individually prepared by each guest during the class (or plentiful sausages) to take home for a generous feast.

Most of our classes currently run at our Moxon Street shop Monday – Saturday from 7-10.30pm, and Sundays from 4-7.30pm. Sausage-Making classes take place at Borough Market on selected Saturdays from 4-7.30pm. We currently offer Beef, Lamb, Pork, Poultry and Sausage Making all year with a selection of seasonal classes in Feathered Game, Fur Game, BBQ and 3 Bird Roasts with more to come. Please be aware that when purchasing a Butchery Class Voucher (at whatever value), you are buying a fixed value to be redeemed against the purchase of a class at its most current retail price. There is a small chance that the cost of our butchery classes could increase in the near future, in which case, at the time of booking the difference between the value of the voucher and the final class price will need to be settled by the person making the booking.
