Our sausage rolls have developed their very own cult following over the years, so of course we couldn't not offer them in our Chop Shop.


We will be delivering our sausage rolls in their raw, uncooked state with a handy little note on storage and cooking. Over the past years we’ve been delivering our sausage rolls already cooked, however, what we’ve always wanted is for you to enjoy them in their crispy, buttery, freshly cooked state straight from the oven just as you would in our London neighbourhood shops. Get your ovens ready! We hope you will be even more thrilled with every bite.

How big is the Giant Sausage Roll we hear you ask? A foot long, with a traditional filling, weighing a modest 940g. Feeds 4 to 6 or one very hungry sausage roll enthusiast.

Cooking Instructions

TO COOK FROM RAW:
Regular size sausage rolls:
If frozen, defrost fully for 1 day in the fridge. Egg wash the pastry before popping into a preheated oven at 180C Fan for 35 to 40 mins. The core temperature should be at 75C when they are done cooking.

Giant size sausage rolls:
If frozen, defrost fully for 1 day in the fridge. Egg wash the pastry before popping into a preheated oven at 180C Fan for 40 to 45 mins. The core temperature should be at 75C when they are done cooking.

TO REHEAT:
Once cooked and cooled, sausage rolls can be heated up by popping in the oven at 165C Fan, cover with foil if getting dark, for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on size or simply eaten cold.

Storage Advice

Please remove all paper wrapping from your raw sausage rolls and place on a plate in the fridge away from cooked items. This allows air to circulate around it properly, helping to prolong shelf life.

Shelf life: 3-4 days. On arrival please see the labels for use by dates.

Vacuum-packed meat can be put straight in the fridge and has a longer shelf life.
